RDK Laboratory

RDK Laboratory is an online platform. It publishes the results of research on material culture and related resources (lists, terminological material). RDK Laboratory joins the ten printed volumes of the Reallexikon zur Deutschen Kunstgeschichte (A-F), which were previously also available in the electronic format RDK Web, compiled with the assistance of the DFG (German Research Foundation). RDK Laboratory enables the publication of articles without the constraints of publishing in alphabetical order or requiring a print layout. An interactive function allows users to share new material for publication with the research centre (contributions to discussions on questions regarding material culture, issues of specialized terminology, etc.). The results of future projects of the research centre are to be published on this platform.

The technical preparations were carried out in cooperation with Prof. Dr. Klaus Lepsky, FH / Cologne University of Applied Sciences, Institute of Information Science. The platform may be accessed at www.rdklabor.de.
